Portovenere is a very ancient seaside village and the smallest municipality in the entire province of La Spezia. It is located on a peninsula whose tip forms a gulf of evocative beauty called the Gulf of Poets. At the end of the peninsula there are three small isthmuses admirable from the ancient village. It is a place to relax, go on nature excursions and on the nearby islands, and eat well.
